Undescended testicles - cryptorchidismMy brother had both his testicles surgically descended at age 22. His sperm count was zero and FSH was abnormally high (5 times above normal).
Would he have ANY seminiferous tubules in either testicle, and how optimistic could he be as to the success of a procedure such as ICSI?
Re: Undescended testicles - cryptorchidismI sucessful sperm retrieval should occur with 45-50% likelihood. The success of ICSI depends on the lab ~25-30% pregnancy.
