Having IC

Post a new topicby livingwith on Wed Apr 09, 2008 4:21 pm

I have read the other three stories posted and can relate so well to all of you. I have been told I have ic but haven't had the scope to look at bladder. I will have that soon. I am scared to have it done. When I had my first child the nurse hurt me bad putting the catheter in so I am not big on being poked and probed. I have a question for you. Is intercourse worse near any time near you period? It is awlful for me. I have so much burning. It feels like my skin is on fire down there.
During my fertile time I am almost 85% -90% better and intercourse is ok then. Is it like that for you?
I also found that taking aloe vera capsules makes a huge difference. It makes the condition so much better. I am 43 years old and it seems like it's gotten worse along with my headaches and now I have anxiety from all this. I think my hormones are playing a part. Tammy
