I am not crazyI have spent the past 3 years in and out of the doctor’s office, trying to convince her that the pelvic pain and discomfort I feel are not in my mind. I have taken increased doses of depression medication to appease my general care provider, only to have her wonder why it never cured my symptoms.

Re: I am not crazyNO...YOU CERTAINLY ARE NOT CRAZY!! I've had IC since I was 18. I am now 58 and was finally diagnosed in 2005. I couldn't begin to tell you how many doctors and emergency rooms I've gone to thru the years. I've found when a person has constant pain, that you have the tendency to slide into depression. IC is paralyzing mentally and physically... Hold on to your faith. I'm a Christian and I hold tight everyday... My advice to you is FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!! They're good ones out there that are compassionate and caring and that can help!! May GOD BLESS YOU..
