My IC Story
My story is a little different. The difference is that I never had a history of unitary tract infections. May of 2009 I had a hysterectomy which during the surgery my bladder was punctured. The doctor said in 2 weeks I would be fine, WRONG! I was sent home the next day after my surgery with a catheter and stents from my kidneys to my bladder. I had the catheter for 3 1/2 weeks and the stents for 5 weeks. In the weeks to follow I had so much pain. More pain than I had before with my uterus.
