Not the fairytale begining…I got married in October 2007 to an American soldier who had just spent his second tour in Afghanistan. While he was gone I was experiencing urgency and frequency as I have for the past ten years. In early January 2008 my symptoms became unbearable. Sponsored LinksRe: Not the fairytale begining…I am very sorry to hear what you are going through. I too have been diagnosed with CI at the age of 40 but feel I have had it for years. I am struggling with the problem of Sexual Intercourse and it has been a real strain on my marriage as I know it is on yours!! I have not been put on any medications at this time but have really noticed a difference when I quit drinking soda. The pain is less. I am not sure if that is any help to you or anyone else, but it has helped me. Good luck with you and your new marriage. I hope we all find something to help soon.
