I was diagnosed with IC about 3 months ago. I am 31 years old, trying to hold down a job and trying to finish a grad school degree. Problem is, I can't manage the pain and discomfort from IC My urologist has put me on several medications. urelle is usually my saving grace (but I've stained all the toilets in my house blue). I just feel like IC is ruining my life. I can't seem to make it go away. The symptoms are constant. I feel discouraged. I hate being inside my body because it feels like my body has failed me. Thankfully, I'm in therapy and on anti-depressants but still, I feel like I've lost the life I once hoped I'd live.
