Re: interstim for ic painYou should be having a trial done prior to permanent implantation of Interstim. If you have had the trial then you know if it works, if you are scheduled for the trial then you will be able to tell after teh test insertion if Interstim decreases or abolishes your pain. I have implanted many IC patients with Interstim and generally they get significant pain relief. The testing phase is easy and there isn't any significant downside, Good Luck.
