I am looking for anyone who has had interstim implants for ic pain.

Has anyone had interstim for the pain of ic that could share with me? I have surgery scheduled for this month and would like to hear someone else" opinion. Thanks in advance.

You should be having a trial done prior to permanent implantation of Interstim. If you have had the trial then you know if it works, if you are scheduled for the trial then you will be able to tell after teh test insertion if Interstim decreases or abolishes your pain. I have implanted many IC patients with Interstim and generally they get significant pain relief. The testing phase is easy and there isn't any significant downside, Good Luck.
