Hello, I'm new at the Peer to Peer. I'm a 25 year female who has been diagnosed with IC in 2006. i just went last week and the doc had to go back in and check my blatter. I'm have more pain now then two years ago. It is more closer together then before. I call it a belly attack and when I have these it's no warning they just hit and when they do it's bad. I was driving down the road about two weeks ago with my usband in the car with me and an attack hit me while driving and I ended uo running off the road. I have tried everything, I'm back and forth to the doctor and Ihe lost for words it seems like. They are talking about sending me to pain managment for this. Does it get any better or will this be something I'm going to have to deal with for the rest of my life? I have a six year and a nine year old and it effects my time with them. I went on a feild trip with my lil boy Monday and I ended up having to go sit in the car for the last hour and half of his trip because I had another spell with my belly.Can someone please tell me what I can do and what may help. I'm to the point I don't know, I'm so tired of the pain. Please let me know if there is anything else I can try, I have done the blatter injection through cath and that flared it up more for me and the med Elmorion done no good for me.Any new suggested would be great.
