I have suffered with IC for 4 to 5 years and it has gotten progressively worse over time. My latest symptom includes extreme pain if I am not able to urinate when the urge hits me and if I hold it for any length of time I am unable to go when I reach the toilet. This leads to more pain. Sometimes it may take 2 to 3 minutes before urination happens. Has anybody else had this type of problem associated with IC? Thanks.
