Urologist in Philadelphia?
I have a friend who has IC and her urologist just sent her a letter that he is no longer accepting her health insurance. Unfortunately, I do not believe she has gotten the best care in the last 10 years. She was diagnosed with IC after a cystoscopy with hydrodistention in 2001. She went to a urologist who mainly dealt with male patients and prostate issues. Does anyone have a good MD who understands IC and has a decent bedside manner?! I feel so bad for her....this has taken such a toll on her mental status. Thanks very much.
