nearly 2 years my monthly periods have been out of whack, I'll have a regular a couple of months n nothing 2 to 3 months. year I have been out nearly 9 months n I have a period it is a rough one, headach, backach, cramping in lower center, left right of my abdomen. bleeding heavy some gushing, also I had spells of panic, tension hurting in my upper thighs. I contacted my family doctor he gave me a weeks supply of Provera 10mg twice a day. My bleeding quit a few hs n resumed, he told me to go to hospital get checked out if bleeding continued. I did, y did a pelvic, blood test urine test checked by blood pressure. All test came back fine, I told to seek furr medical attention at a Womens Health C. I am 46 years old, I have had 4 pregnancies 4 live births in my life. I am being treated depression high blood thyroid. Can se changes happen quickly when start to go through menopause? Can feel fine on a sunday suddenly feel like r world has turned upside down just 24 hs later? I have also had my first real hot flash during time too. Is re a health group in Charleston, West Virginia a I can get in touch to help me? Thank . Mary

Mary, Get the book entitled The Wisdom of Menopause by Dr. Christiane Northrup. It will answer all of your questions. And yes you can be fine one day and miserable the next. You probably need to have your hormones checked. Read her book and you'll know what to do.
