Post menopausal bleeding

Post a new topicby riverlady123 on Thu Aug 20, 2009 12:56 pm

I have never been officially diagnosed with menopause I started having irregular periods about 4 years ago eventually tapering off to no periods. In Sept. of 2007, I had a few hours of bleeding (more like spotting) after a year of no periods. Now almost 2 years later, I am bleeding again, but not heavily. Of course I just discovered it 10 minutes ago when I went to the bathroom. Is this unusual after 2 years or is it common among women who thought they were finished with menopause? I've had a 2 or 3 hot flashes in the last couple of weeks.
