This is an update of my "Migraine Mystery".

The condition of the subject in my original story worsened to the point he was rushed to Emergency and was operated on within the hour. Apparently his shunt was not working properly. The catheter to his brain had failed -- when I don't know. His catheter was replaced and he came home in a few days. Today is day 14 since the operation and I've noticed a vast improvement in his concentration, memory, speech and overall well being AND no migraines (so far). His migraines began a few years ago so I'm wondering how long the catheter was failing. In any case we are all very positive at the moment. I'll update again -- perhaps in a few months.
