This seems very similar to the type of migraine I had as child. On school bus trips I would come home throwing up and bash my head against the wall to try to relieve the pain. It took a long time to work out it was caused by straining of the eye muscles , which was caused by squinting (even though I didn't realize I was doing it). A good set of sunglasses outdoors and changing the fluorescent lighting , plus reducing the brightness on monitors and TVs resolved the cause for me.
