Migraine

i have suffered from migraines since i was a child, but they occur once every few years.i am now aged 44 and just get the aura...........no headache.
the aura consists of blind spots, followed by speech disturbances, and sometimes numbness of my right arm and face, this is usually over within 15 mins, then i think i am ok, but continue to have memory problems and difficulty naming items and people.I have always been advised against taking long term oestrogens because of the increased risk of strokes.I was wondering how safe it is to take phytoestrogens, and also if medical views have changed in relation to hrt.
