Migraine suffererI've lived with migraines since I was in my early teens, I'm almost 28 years old now and I still sometimes get them a few times a week, sometimes it's a full-flegged migraine, sometimes it's just an annoying headache. I've gone to a nouralagist, have had EEG's, EKG's, MRI's and the such and everything comes back negative, nothing's wrong and all that. My migraines have been known to knock me out cold, and in the last 3 years, have gotten more naucious and have been throwing up because of them. They occur on any or all sides of my head, I never know when they're going to start, I have a tendency to wake up with them quite often lately. One of my last serious migraines was on Thanksgiving at my aunt's house, I threw up twice and could barely eat, I ended up crashing on one of her guest beds for a few hours. I've gone to my doctor countless times regarding this and took the suggestion of a co-worker to see a nouralagist but that seems to have been a total waste of money now because all of the tests that were done. These stupid things have been known to last all day, one time I had it for 3 days straight. I really don't know where they're coming from, nobody seems to have any answers, I'm tired of being put on medication after medication after medication...I'm tired of not having any answers as to why I get these and so often. There have been many times I've had to leave work early because I couldn't concentrate because of the pounding in my head. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm pretty new to this, I've never gotten on a migraine forum before and I just now registered to this site, but I was strongly urged to check it out.
