Re: MS and poliowhile i dont have polio, it is suspected that ms has been doing damage to my system for years. i am 39 now, and have had imaginary rashes to my legs burning and cramping since age 5. i too got the flu which seemed to bring on the MS full blown. yes, for years i was told i was depressed. i just needed to de-stress my life and lose 10 pounds to feel great again. not until my walking was affected did anyone really listen. i am still waiting for treatment, seems like it may never come. we shouldn't have to lose so much before we get treatment . by then we lose our freedom, income, independence and hope.
