Spinal Tap Results Extremely High Synthetic Rate?

Hi, I have been fighting MS symptoms for about 4 weeks and today it was confirmed as MS My spinal tap results showed a high White Blood cell count, high protein and something I think she called "Synthetic Rate" which was 46.6 and the highest she has ever seen (My Neurologist). Does anyone know what this means and what your number was/is? Thanks in advance from an MS rookie!
