Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)

Hi everyone ....a little bit of an embarrassing post ! (im blushing a bit) but something i have a little worry on !! any advice would be great.

I have started seeing a guy ...anyway ...the moment happened ...a little bit nerve racking for me as youve prob gathered since the PID attack i have had some anxiety ..about starting a relationship again..but as im always talking about babies ...you carnt have a baby unless you have sex so after a quick visit to the loo to threw up!!! (how romantic cathy :-( but as i say ...i must of been a bit nervous ...was it going to hurt or cause any damage or start something off .... if anyone can please give advice i be grateful ...my question is it is the first time i have had sex since all the problems started i decided that even if i met somebody i would leave it for a year anyway to give it a chance to heal which i have done . It was last friday and i made sure i used condoms I didnt have any pain during sex (which i had somehow convinced myself i would do!! i know thats silly but perhaps all the pain of the past made me think that way) so im glad that things were fine during it . ..The next day and up to now i had pain on the pubic bone area, the womb and seems around my overies . I am due to have my period on 1st April so i know its week before and expect ovulation pain but its very painful (just like a period pain) as im typing now ...and it has been since saturday morning. I expect a bit of bruising simply because i havent had sex in such long time . I have jsut taken paracetamol since saturday ...do you think its just a period approaching or is it possible that i could have started PID off or bruised my cervix . ?? The only problem was i dont want to go into any details about my past medical problems hes a little bit younger than me at 28 ...i dont want to spoil things at this stage im worried he might of been a bit too enthusiastic if that is the word (not rough in any way) but i did ask him to stop at one point as i just thought it might do some damage.. There was a split second that he was near me without a condom (which im also worried about) i called Marie Stopes Clinic spoke to a lovely lady and she said she would send me a chlamydia test in the post ....im prob worried simply because its the first time ive had sex ...does anyone know how likely since last friday with protection could having sex cause any problems??. Im not having any symptoms discharges and i did not bleed afterwards and havent bled at all just pain in my womb area or could that be because of his body squashing it a bit ....just to add i dont have cystitis . Its just like a stongish period pain but no period .
