Hi to all - In a few posts back i spoke about testing for Chlamydia by in two different ways . By urine sample and by high vaginal swab to see if there was any differences in the result. The urine sample was by postal kit from a well known clinic and the other way was by high vaginal swab from well woman/family planning centre/chlamydia testing clinic here where i live .

The urine sample , sent to the well known clinic first result was Equivocal (the price for the test was 30.00) i was sent another urine test fee of charge from that particular clinic, so on the same day 23rd April i provided another urine sample and also went to have a high vaginal swab .

The urine sample i provided to the well known clinic , the results arrived today has come back as Equivocal for a second time . They have suggested a Chlamydia swab . Fortunately, having already provided a swab on the same day within a few hours of testing via urine with the well known clinic, i have opbtained my result from the well woman /family plannning/chlamydia clinic . This vaginal swab has come back as NEGATIVE . Im quite pleased about this everyone and thought id share my news with you all . Also having tested on the same day in two separate ways , only in my opinion ...i would say that the best way to test for Chlamydia - here where i live in UK (not including another methods but postal tests to labs and family planning clinic ect ...IS having a VAGINAL swab ...it also seemed to be the case with the "error" they made perhaps by my urine sample i provided at my local GU all that time back ....i have come to the conclusion that testing for Chlamydia (Ghonn) as you can test at the same time ...i just tested for one ...is best taken by the vaginal swab method . There is no time waste , less chance somebody will be in pain or suffering from symptoms and the whole situation can be tackled more effficiently ...

Well its good news about the result and i am very happy . :-)
