Painful daysIt always happens right before my menustration. I get moody, I start feeling anxious. I cant sleep through the night. Re: Painful daysDear D.N.
I had experienced your PMS problems for over 18 years. I had pain in my entire body at least three days before the start of my period. I had passed out on a regular basis and I had the strangest moods ever. I was advised to try acupuncture treatment and it works miraculously. I am so happy to be a normal person now even when I get my period. I see the world differently and I take things easily. If you have pain and cannot take acupuncture, there is a product called Moxalite. It is natural and you can use it very easily. This helps as well as acupunctre. Hope this will help you to have a better life :) and happier days during your period.
Re: Painful daysHi "Painful Days"! I can relate to your story. Mine is similar. I can deal with the cramps & sore boobs, but the so-called "mood swings" are what really bothers me. I am usually a very happy, positive person, but for the 4 or 5 days before my period - watch out! My boyfriend thinks that I am "irrational", but like yourself, you know that what you are feeling and thinking is real. It is like I have some "super insite" suddenly to negative truths and I call them like I see them. It seems perfectly rational to me at the time, but the rest of the month they don't bother me so much and I can deal with them. I am wondering if making a PMS chart would be helpful. That way perhaps I can be more prepared for my oncoming negativity and irritability. I am also wondering if there are any natural remedies - vitamins, foods, herbs - that can help allieviate this. I plan on talking to my family Dr. about it. Good luck to you and thanks for sharing.
