Acute lower Back Pain

Post a new topicby Lydarose on Wed Jan 23, 2008 9:41 pm

Every other month or so, one week before my period, my lower back begins to ache and be sore in the center (seems to be in the spine) Within a few hours there is an acute pain in one point in my lower spine (like a knife or a pinched nerve maybe). I cannot stand up straight. A single wrong move can cause a shooting pain like a lightning bolt to travel up and down my back. The second day it is better ( I can stand straighter) but a wrong step or wrong move can still cause the shooting pain that often causes me to cry out (it is quite sudden and sharp). Any suggestions, comments, similar experiences appreciated.

Thanks
