PMS nausea

Post a new topicby aquarius on Mon Aug 13, 2007 11:28 am

I'm 32 years old and have had regular periods, no children. For the second time this year I'm experiencing a "delayed" arrival of my period and bouts of nausea, upset stomach and burping. It has been normal for me to have bloating, water retention and constipation which I also have now. I may have breast tenderness for a few days but this time I've had it for two weeks. The first time this happened was in January. I took several pregnancy tests which were all negative and eventually my period showed up although two weeks late. I'm wondering if there may be some other problem. Worrying about when my period is going to show up is possibly making it worse? The nausea and stomach problems are unusual for me and its not responding to any OTC medication.

If I am reading this correctly you are two weeks late for your period, you might want to consider the possibility you are pregnant. If that possibility exists then a pregnancy test from a drug store would be a place to start. If not then I would follow up with your GYN, its possible that you are pre menopausal and experiencing hormone fluctuation which maybe helped with medication
