i have had sex with a woman that told me she had herpes.however she had not experienced any sort of outbreak for over two years.and since the sexual contact was very limited and i was never fully erect and able to perform,i wonder if there is achance of not contracting this virus.

The chances of you catching the infection, while she was having no outbreak, are low. If she was taking antivirals when you guys had intercourse, then the chances are even lower. I think with all conditions being good, the chance ends up in about 1%.
