15 and pregnant

Post a new topicby livingwith on Thu Nov 05, 2009 2:57 pm

I was 14 years old when I found out I was pregnant. I didn’t belive it. I just never thought it could happen to me. I was a straight A student and never got into trouble. Untill now of course. My boyfriend went out and bought me three pregnancy tests, they all came back positive. I had never been so scared in my life. Weeks went by and I didn’t tell anyone.
I started to get bigger so then I wore my boyfriends clothes. I quit cheerleading and my grades were slipping. My life was fall...Read the full article

I stumbled across your story as I was searching for information on teen-pregnancy. I have a daughter that will be a new mother at the age of 19. She is married, but still very young. So I was just curious what was out there to read... Because of your age I clicked on your story. My initial thought was it would be a young lady with no direction, possibly suffering in her home life, etc... I apologize for the judgement. Beleive me, your sweet personality came through in what you shared. You said you loved her, and you were worried if she would love you. I thought that no matter what is going on, this girl gets it!!! She is keeping her focus on her precious child... It really doesn't matter what people think in the end. It's between you and God. Not that this is about my daughter, but she has gone through the family and friends cutting off all communication with her as well, over her choice to marry and have her baby. The pain is great when people behave that way. But hang in there, they will find someone else to be nasty to, and they will come to their senses. Just keep sticking with whats right and honorable and you will be the one who is receiving blessings in so many ways. You have alot of grit to you. Your a strong young lady, and from what I read you seem to be quite a sweet young lady as well. Your going to see alot of little miracles in your life:) God is happy that your the mother of this precious little angel. Thank you for sharing. You touched my life:)
