Teen Pregnancy

I'm 17 and I'm used to my mother going to the doctor with me. Usually if i go to the doctor by myself I have to bring a note or sumthing saying that she gives permission. Right now I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant and I haven't been to the doctor yet. I take prenatal pills though because my mom got them from a friend of hers. I need help, I don't know if I can go to the doctor by myself or with my boyfriend without having my mother there to give permission. I don't want to have to bother with asking my mother if she is able to go to the doctor with me so I can take care of my baby. It's also a little bit awkward with my mother and my boyfriend in the same room because she knows I am going to have the baby she just hasn't gotten too comfortable with it yet. So if anyone knows what the procedures are for doctor visits, can you please let me know.
