Re: i am 17 ,, and i want to have a baby ;Bree,
By waiting to have a baby til after you graduate high school and/or college, by waiting til you are older and more mature, by waiting to have a job to support yourself you will give the baby you will have a better chance at life and a wonderful, educated, loving mother. Don't be in a rush to grow up Bree, you have many more years to enjoy your life being a young adult. And please, please find another bf who will put you first when it comes to sex, a respectable young man would not put you or himself in a situation that would cause you to become pregnant or come in contact with an STD/AIDS for his own selfishness. Re: i am 17 ,, and i want to have a baby ;Wait!! You need to think about you and your education first. Finish your education first. What if something happens to this BF, like something tragic and he is killed, or left in a coma, and you guys are not married but you have a child together and you have not finished college or started a career. What happens to you and that poor baby? You need to make sure that you can provide for yourself (and a family) before you start making a family. Not to mention, that if this is a guy you want to marry and have kids with then wait, get married first and then kids. It may be traditional, but at least you know he is committed to you.
In addition, condoms are good for preventing pregnancy and STDs if used properly. However, there are other options that are affordable as well like birth control pills ($25/month at Planned Parenthood for 4example), Depo Provera Shot (1 shot every 3 months for under $80/shot at PP as well). But make sure you and your bf get tested for STDs before switching methods.
