VBAC after two cesareans

Post a new topicby redmama3 on Tue Dec 18, 2007 10:42 am

Is there anything that can be done to promote safety and increase the chances of success when attempting a trail of labor after having two previous cesareans and no previous vaginal birth? I am desperate for help.

From what my doctor has told me and the research I have done an ultrasound can be done after 36 weeks to see what thickness the uterine wall is to give them some indication of the potential risks. It's also important to know the type of incisions you've had and if they were single or double suctured. They can also closely monitor the fetal heart rate. However, until the uterus ruptures, there are no indications as there would be in other complications.
