prolapse & back injury?

Post a new topicby ladiulio on Tue Jan 06, 2009 8:26 pm

i was hit in back in September & then had further injury by twisting & lifting a child to keep from falling a week later. i have had to wait 3 weeks for each treatment. PT MRI Pain shots. MRI indicates tear on L5 & have scheduled shots for L4-S1. I have had L4 &L5. I have pain in buttock, hip & down side of leg only on left side. at the end of November i experienced a pulling feeling in hip & stomach, & was in shock when i went to the rest room to have more skin tissue there that usual. After making a bee line to Gynecologist she stated I had a uterus prolapse.
is the back injury due to this?
I had heard that the nerve damage = relaxation in pelvis= prolapse?
