Or does it hurt with penetration, or when he goes too deep does it feel like he's hitting something? Right now I have that problem, he hits something and it hurts so bad! I'm only 33 and my sex life has drastically changed over the course of 2 years. I had my first baby in 98, I had another in 08, and one this march. The dr. says it was hard on my body and he says he can fix me, he guaranteed it actually. But who knows? The more I read about the outcome of this it terrifies me! What was the recovery like? Painful? Were you able to do things around the house and stuff? Thank you for answering my questions, it means alot!
Re: SEX AFTER PROLAPSEThis prolapse is very hard to get over. I hope you will talk to your dr. in detail about what should happen. I got an infection, and my stiches healed on the inside before my stiches healed on the outside. It was just terrible. I was in bed for 3 months. I could not even turn over by myself. My husband was with me day and night. Good luck.
Re: SEX AFTER PROLAPSEWhen we try to have sex he can only enter me just a little. The Dr. has said I need to be streached. He told me to get a vaginal dialater. I have not at this point. NO I could not do anything around the house. You will need help 24/7. If I lived close to you I would help you. It is terrible. Please have someone to help you. I fainted one time when I got out of bed. I had a cather for 6 weeks. My bladder would not wake up. Ask you Dr. lots of questions. Good Luck.
Re: SEX AFTER PROLAPSEI had this surgery 12 days ago and am doing pretty well. Yes at times it was difficult but already I am feeling glad that I had the surgery. I am able to be up and about, never had any trouble doing stairs (I was scared that would be a problem). Stopped taking the strong pain meds on day 10 and am okay. BM's are a little painful but other than that I really can't complain.
I had a Hysterectomy, A and P repair, Intestine repair and other bits done. My doctor has called me at home twice and tells me it was an extensive surgery 4 hours and to take it easy. I am taking it easy but am able to get up and shower, get dressed, make sandwich, fold laundry etc. SEX will be in the future they say 6 to 8 weeks, I'm thinking more like 24 at this point. So let me know how it goes for you ladies as I will be very interested.
Re: SEX AFTER PROLAPSEJust wondering, how old are you? I'm 33 and they (drs) say that my age SHOULD play a part in the recovery. I'm SO afraid, I'm booked for Oct. 1. I have a 4 month old and a 16 month old. I've already been told I will pretty much be stuck in bed for 8 weeks. How is that possible??!!
