well i think that Yeast infection is the result of naturally occurring fungus known as Candida albicans. This fungus is found in small amounts in your vagina and the mouth and digestive tract. Candida yeast is usually kept to balance the acidic environment inside the vagina.

Hi, I agree a yeast infection is caused by bacteria, candida. Youcan not only get a vaginal yeast infection but, in your mouth, urinary tract, skin, nose, ears. It's not only women who get them there are male yeast infections too. Also canine yeast infections. If anyone is looking to get rid of a yeast infection. Whether it's a male yeast infection, a vaginal yeast infection, a skin yeast infection, a severe yeast infection of any kind I suggest you read this. I had a recurring vaginal yeast infection. I saw my doctor and after 2 creams and a round of antibiotics I still had it come back. He just said it's a chronic yeast infection. I did not wan this to keep coming back. I talked to a few friends who suggested natural or alternative medicine. I searched the internet I found an alternative cure for this chronic yeast infection. If anyone is interested the site helped me a lot.
